Are you a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for helping young minds thrive? If so, we have a very exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a tutor in Skelmersdale. You will be making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable, disengaged and at-risk young people. The successful tutor must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in a pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

Position Details:

  • Role: 1:1 Secondary Tutor
  • Subjects: Maths, English, Science
  • Location: In the community or pupils home (Lancaster)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Rate of Pay: GBP25 per hour (minimum)
  • Hours: Flexible - between 8am and 4pm (some after-school work available)
  • Contract Type: Ongoing, part-time contract

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years professional references
  • QTS or relevant tutoring experience
  • Experience working with SEN pupils (preferred)
