- Friday flexible hours Overtime available 32 days holiday Online GP service/private medical Enhanced pension scheme Progression and development programs I am currently working with a leading UK manufacturer that is investing heavily in its operations and looking to appoint a Site Services Supervisor to lead critical site infrastructure and utilities across a busy production facility.
This is a highly visible position responsible for ensuring site services, utilities and facilities remain operational to support continuous manufacturing performance.
The role offers a mixture of leadership, project work and hands-on technical involvement.
Lead and develop a team of site services and maintenance engineers Manage utilities, facilities and critical infrastructure across the site Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities Lead contractor management and permit-to-work processes Drive energy, waste, water and efficiency improvement projects Manage site boilers, HVAC, electrical and utility systems Support audits, compliance activities and statutory inspections Monitor budgets, utility consumption and continuous improvement initiatives Approximately 40% hands-on involvement supporting engineering projects and site improvements Ideal Background Previous experience leading Site Services, Facilities or Utilities teams within manufacturing Strong knowledge of boilers, HVAC, utilities and facility infrastructure Experience managing contractors and external service providers Track record delivering maintenance, reliability or efficiency improvements Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment Engineering qualification (Level 3 or above preferred) Strong understanding of HSE compliance, permits to work and risk assessments
