The Best Connection is currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative for one of our food manufacturing clients based in the SY4 area.

An in‑date Counterbalance FLT licence (essential) and an in‑date PPT licence (essential) are required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 5:30pm

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Key responsibilities:
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Manual handling of stock
  • Pallet movement and general stock control
  • Supporting goods‑in and goods‑out operations
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
  • Operating FLT when required (not the main focus of the role)
  • Using computer systems and handheld scanners to track stock and orders
Requirements:
  • In‑date Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
  • In‑date PPT licence (essential)
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Happy to carry out mainly warehouse duties rather than full‑time FLT work
  • Proficient in using computer systems and scanners
  • Ability to work at a steady pace and follow health & safety procedures
  • Own transport required due to limited/no public transport in the area
