Overview

Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience).

We are currently seeking a permanent Technical Support Engineer to join a growing team within the pump industry.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical assistance to customers and internal teams
  • Acting as a key point of contact for customer liaison
  • Completion of technical quotations and accurate equipment sizing
  • Preparation and completion of technical tenders
  • Project management duties, including maintaining accurate project files
  • Working with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD drawings
  • Handling technical queries via phone and email
  • Supporting general workshop duties as required
  • Occasional supervised site visits
  • Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience within the pump industry or a related engineering field (preferred)
  • Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and work with technical drawings
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to support across departments
