Overview
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience).
We are currently seeking a permanent Technical Support Engineer to join a growing team within the pump industry.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical assistance to customers and internal teams
- Acting as a key point of contact for customer liaison
- Completion of technical quotations and accurate equipment sizing
- Preparation and completion of technical tenders
- Project management duties, including maintaining accurate project files
- Working with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD drawings
- Handling technical queries via phone and email
- Supporting general workshop duties as required
- Occasional supervised site visits
- Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience within the pump industry or a related engineering field (preferred)
- Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and work with technical drawings
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support across departments
