An exciting opportunity for a TB Clinical Support Worker to assist in improving patient safety and the patient experience through continued improvement in the quality of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support CNS with TB clinics.
  • Speak with patients about treatment compliance.
  • Answer and triage patient telephone messages.
  • Review and validate TB service database.
  • Work across sites, including The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.
  • Conduct telephone reviews with patients.
  • Order consumables as required.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 in a care‑related subject and experience in an acute healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Work Environment:

The post holder will work under the guidance and direction of the TB specialist nursing team and the lead TB Clinical Nurse Specialist.
