About this job
What you'll be working:
- 36 - 48 hours
- Reliable, consistent shifts
- A range of shifts are available to help support within the client's package of care; he has support from nursing staff almost all of the time and requires 1:1 care during the day and overnight.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing support to a teenage client in his home and in the community as necessary.
- Interacting with him, playing games and watching his iPad.
- Promoting independence where appropriate.
- Personal care
Our client also has a variety of medical needs, including:
- A central venous line and IV medications and TPN
- An ileostomy
- Enteral feeds and medications
- Clinical observations: temperature, HR and SpO2
- Multiple severe allergies for which he has an EpiPen
What you'll have:
- A current NMC Pin registration (Registered Children's Nurse)
- A legal right to work in the UK
- Own vehicle with work insurance
