Role Overview

As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and support continuous improvement across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Produce First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues using 8D methodologies and root‑cause analysis tools.
  • Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with AS9100 standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve quality concerns.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure best practice is maintained.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within the Aerospace industry.
  • Experience producing First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102).
  • Strong understanding of 8D problem‑solving techniques and root‑cause analysis.
  • Experience supporting AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Desirable: Experience with process audits, PFMEA, PPAP, and SPC.
  • Knowledge or experience of PCB manufacturing (preferred).
