Role Overview
As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and support continuous improvement across the business.
Responsibilities
- Produce First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues using 8D methodologies and root‑cause analysis tools.
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with AS9100 standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve quality concerns.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure best practice is maintained.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within the Aerospace industry.
- Experience producing First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102).
- Strong understanding of 8D problem‑solving techniques and root‑cause analysis.
- Experience supporting AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Desirable: Experience with process audits, PFMEA, PPAP, and SPC.
- Knowledge or experience of PCB manufacturing (preferred).
