Supply Star Little Learners is working in partnership with an award-winning nursery chain in Shrewsbury, who are in search of Level 3 (and above) qualified Early Years Professionals to support them in continuing to deliver outstanding care and education to young children aged 0-5 years old.
Role
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met in line with the EYFS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Activity Planning: Plan and deliver engaging activities that support developmental milestones in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Observation & Tracking: Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in their learning folders.
- Safety & Safeguarding: Supervise children during play, mealtimes, and rest, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety and safeguarding regulations.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive partnerships with parents, carers, and colleagues through effective communication.

Hours of work: Full time, Monday-Friday between 7.50am - 6.00pm
Requirements:
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- English GCSE grade C/4 (if qualified after Sept 2014)
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A caring, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
