Ward 37 is a busy and dynamic General Surgical ward providing high-quality care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures. We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, patient-centred care within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team and we are looking for a motivated and caring Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care to our patients.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times and support with activities of daily living (e.g. personal care, mobility, nutrition)
- Undertake clinical observations (e.g. vital signs, blood glucose monitoring) and report any concerns
- Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes
- Support infection prevention and control measures
- Maintain accurate patient records
