Shrewsbury School is seeking an outstanding Health Centre Manager to lead and develop our 24‑hour Health Centre, a vital part of pastoral care in our thriving co‑educational boarding and day school. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to combine clinical expertise with strategic leadership, delivering exceptional healthcare provision and promoting pupil wellbeing at the highest level. Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the 24‑hour Health Centre.
- Coordinate the delivery of medical care with overall pastoral care across the School.
- Provide strategic leadership and delivery of exceptional healthcare provision.
- Exercise strong clinical governance and safeguarding duties.
- Work closely with the Deputy Head (Pastoral) and other staff.
Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with relevant experience.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and safeguarding.
- Experience working with young people.
- Excellent communication, organisational and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure.
