What you’ll do
As a Cleaner in the Facilities Management Team, you will undertake cleaning tasks within our properties, ensuring office spaces, meeting rooms, and communal areas are cleaned efficiently. Duties include:
- Cleaning common areas, toilets, guest accommodation, baths, and showers
- Polishing surfaces, furniture, and office equipment
- Replenishing consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels
- Emptying waste bins
- Using chemical agents as directed by the supervising officer
In addition, you will ensure that health and safety and safe working practices are followed and report any maintenance, security, and safety concerns to the Facilities Managers immediately.
Skills and experience required:
- Literate and numerate to Key Skills Entry Level 1
- The ability to carry out work under minimal supervision
- The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and moving furniture
- Experience of carrying out basic cleaning tasks
- A basic understanding of health and safety requirements
- A commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer care
- The ability to create positive working relationships with colleagues and provide excellent customer service to customers
- A full UK Driving Licence
