GI GROUP Telford is looking for FLT Drivers in the Hortonwood area. Β£1330 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotational. Must be able to work both shifts.
The FLT (Forklift Truck) Driver job typically involves safely operating a forklift to move, load, and unload goods in a warehouse or industrial setting. The driver is responsible for tasks like inventory management, order picking, and ensuring the warehouse area is safe and tidy.
Responsibilities- Safe and Efficient Forklift Operation: Moving, loading, and unloading goods using various forklift types, ensuring the safety of self and others.
- Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory counts, stock takes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Order Picking: Collecting goods from designated areas and preparing them for dispatch.
- Loading and Unloading: Loading and unloading goods from trucks and other vehicles.
- Warehouse Organisation: Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Checking forklift equipment for faults and reporting any issues.
- Adherence to Regulations: Following health and safety regulations and forklift operating procedures.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicating with team members and following instructions.
- In Date - Valid Forklift Truck License (mandatory) RTITB/ ITSSAR/ABA - No in-house experience operating forklifts (counterbalance).
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a busy environment.

- Physical ability to handle manual tasks and lifting.
