An exciting opportunity has arisen for three Finance Apprentices to join the Finance team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. The Trust’s vision is to provide excellent care to the communities we serve and our Finance Team plays an integral part in supporting the Trust to achieve this.
The postholders will join a professional and friendly team that is committed to providing the best support to the Trust's departments with the ability to react and respond to issues that arise both quickly and confidently. A strong interest in developing staff and building highly functional teams is essential. This is an excellent opportunity.
Location: The role is based at Shrewsbury Business Park with agile working. Travel across our hospital and community sites will be required to attend meetings. The successful candidates will be based in Financial Performance. You will assist the teams in various duties including raising invoices, answering budget manager queries and analysing data. This practical experience across a wide range of financial management will provide an excellent foundation for a career in finance and the NHS.
Our two hospitals, The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in Shrewsbury, provide a wide range of acute hospital services for around half a million people across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and Mid-Wales. Together the hospitals have over 700 beds and assessment and treatment trolleys across a variety of services.
