We are looking for a customer‑focused individual who is comfortable balancing front‑of‑house duties with administrative and operational responsibilities. The role sits within a collaborative team delivering defined outcomes for customers and stakeholders, with specific responsibility for the delivery of services and support for facilities‑related projects. The role includes shared reception desk cover between 8:30am and 4:45pm alongside the Assistant Facilities Managers, as well as active involvement in compliance, audits and day‑to‑day facilities coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front‑of‑house support, welcoming visitors and ensuring they are supported appropriately.
  • Ensure site security procedures are followed at all times.
  • Deliver support services including porterage, meeting room management and managing the FM mailbox.
  • Liaise with the Assistant Facilities Manager, clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support inductions for new starters, including health & safety and environmental inductions.
  • Log, facilitate and oversee reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
  • Support compliance with environmental, HSEQ and security standards, including audits.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with low to medium risk projects.

Professional and Personal Competencies / Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and customer experience skills.
  • Facilities experience is desirable.
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable taking on responsibility, including involvement in risk assessments.
  • Willing to undertake first aid training.
  • Team player with a proactive and problem‑solving approach.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
