The Gateway Adult and Community Education Centre plays a vital role in supporting adult learners, community engagement and lifelong learning. We are now seeking a Centre Coordinator to support the effective day-to-day operation of the Centre and contribute to the continued development of a high quality adult curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative, operational, examination and customer‑facing activities to ensure the Centre runs efficiently.
- Ensure the Gateway is a welcoming, safe and efficient environment for students, staff, visitors and external partners.
- Maintain high standards of service and support income‑generating activity.
- Contribute to curriculum coordination and development, including quality assurance activities, to meet local, regional and national adult education priorities.
- Help shape an inclusive, responsive curriculum for adults.
- Support safeguarding, including the Prevent Duty, and promote the welfare of all students.
- Provide flexibility to work occasional evenings when required.
