About the Role
Location: Shrewsbury
Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible hours available, Monday-Friday
Salary:
- Level 2 with a valid PFA certificate: £14.23 phr (PAYE)
- Level 3 with a valid PFA certificate: £15.00 phr (PAYE)
- Level 2 & Level 3 with a valid PFA: £16.88 phr (Umbrella)
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire Learning: Support nursery team to deliver creative, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.
- Nurture Well-being: Provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
- Safety First: Ensure excellent standards of hygiene, health, and safety are met at all times.
Qualifications
- Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
- Paediatric First Aid Qualification (if qualified after 30th June 2016).
- English GCSE grade C/4 (if qualified after Sept 2014).
- Previous experience working within an early years setting is highly desirable.
- All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS and two satisfactory references.
- Must have a clear enhanced DBS certificate to be considered for this role.
