We're looking for an experienced Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to support adults with a range of mental health needs within a community setting in Savernfields. You'll complete specialist assessments, prescribe and review medication, and contribute to formulation-based care plans.

You'll manage your own caseload, support effective risk management and promote recovery, independence and wellbeing through person-centred care. This role suits a confident clinician who is comfortable working autonomously with complex cases.

About You

You're a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber with a background in mental health, confident in medication management and clinical decision-making. You build strong therapeutic relationships and work effectively in community settings. You bring excellent assessment and prescribing skills, emotional resilience and a commitment to improving outcomes for people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex caseload, including assessment, prescribing and care planning
  • Prescribe, review and monitor medication in line with best practice
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including pharmacological and psychologically informed approaches
  • Complete and review risk assessments, promoting safe and positive risk-taking
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, outcome measures and reports
  • Work collaboratively within MDTs and with external agencies
  • Provide clinical advice and support to colleagues where appropriate
  • Contribute to service development, clinical governance and audit activity
  • Communicate effectively with service users, carers and partner organisations

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Registered RMN or relevant professional registration
  • Non-Medical Prescriber qualification (V300)
  • Experience working with adults with mental health needs
  • Strong assessment, prescribing and risk management skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
  • Experience in community mental health settings
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Previous Band 7 or senior-level experience
  • Training in psychological therapies (CBT, DBT, etc.)
  • Experience providing supervision or clinical leadership
