This is a varied and hands-on role at the heart of Sherborne Schools Enterprises, supporting the delivery and promotion of both our events programme and our hospitality outlets, Queenie’s Coffee Shop and The Hub. Working closely with the Commercial Events Manager, you will be involved in the planning, coordination and delivery of a wide range of events including comedy nights, themed events, performances, live music and wedding fairs, while also helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our hospitality spaces.
You will play an important role in maintaining consistently high standards of customer service, food and beverage quality, and health and safety, while also supporting marketing activity and building positive relationships with colleagues, suppliers and partners. The role would suit someone who is proactive, well organised and commercially aware, who enjoys being part of a busy team and is willing to get involved in all aspects of operations, whether that is supporting service, assisting with administration or helping at events.
Based primarily at Sherborne International, you will also contribute to initiatives across the wider Sherborne Schools Group and may be required to work at other sites when needed, with some flexibility required to support evening and weekend events.
