We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for loading and unloading palletised goods from a variety of vehicles, ensuring the upkeep of the warehouse is met and completing relevant paperwork to ensure processes and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Counterbalance forklift to safely load and unload palletised goods from lorries and place pallets into designated racking systems.
  • Tip and load trailers as required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and accurately.
  • Use warehouse systems and scanners to accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods while maintaining high standards of care and attention.
  • Support general warehouse duties, such as pallet wrapping, labelling, and 'clean as you go' housekeeping to ensure a safe and organised working environment.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, following warehouse procedures and reporting any issues or equipment defects promptly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment.
  • Good communication and team working skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
