We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at HMP Guys Marsh, a category C men's prison.
Responsibilities
As a Stores Operative, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all. We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, the role supports the smooth and safe operation of the site, and contributes to rehabilitation and positive change.
Qualifications
- Fork Lift Truck Certificate
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Full driving license preferably with D1 HGV Licence
- Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
