Join Our Technical Team at The Compleat Food Group. We’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a Senior QA Technician to join our dedicated and professional Technical team in Evesham.

Role Details

  • Fri, Rotating Shift Pattern: 5:30 am – 2:30 pm then 9 am – 6 pm
  • Role Type: Permanent, Full Time
  • Location: Evesham
  • Salary: Up to £33,000

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage QA schedules to ensure timely task completion and enable corrective actions where required.
  • Mentor and support QA Technicians to deliver tasks effectively within set timeframes.
  • Meet strict laboratory testing deadlines and promptly escalate out‑of‑specification results to the Technical Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager to drive continuous improvement across the site.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date technical logs reflecting all site activities.
  • Raise, communicate and log non‑conformances, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are completed within deadlines.
  • Compile and analyse technical KPIs to identify trends and support ongoing improvements.
  • Conduct site traceability exercises in line with certification and legal requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations for customer complaints and non‑conformances, implementing preventative measures.
  • Perform internal audits to verify compliance with the quality management system.
  • Uphold high standards of food safety, legality and product quality across the site.
  • Ensure QA and operational documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date and properly completed and filed.

About You

  • Experience in a QC or similar role.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Level 2 HACCP and Level 2 Food Safety.
