An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the research team of Professor Chris Miller as Senior Clinical Trials Co-ordinator within Research & Innovation (R&I) at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The role sits within the BHF Manchester Centre for Heart and Lung Magnetic Resonance Research and supports an ambitious programme of cardiovascular research spanning clinical trials, national registries and translational research initiatives.
The postholder will work closely with Professor Miller and his wider research team to support the strategic planning, coordination and delivery of multiple studies, ensuring robust and efficient processes for study set-up, governance and operational delivery. A key aspect of the role will be leading data management across the UK HFpEF (led by Prof Miller) and UK CARDIO‑IMID (led by Professor Maya Buch) programmes.
Working with investigators, participating sites and national partners, the postholder will help ensure research datasets are complete, high quality, harmonised and ready for analysis, including coordination of imaging data curation and integration of linked outcome data within secure research environments.
