Job Role

  • Send Teacher (Full-time & Part-time) – supportive teaching roles within special schools and alternative provisions, working with pupils with additional needs, including:
    • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
    • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
    • Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
    • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
    • Complex needs and communication difficulties

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with a variety of additional needs in primary and secondary SEND settings, deliver tailored lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and foster a positive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
  • Experience or strong interest in special educational needs teaching
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Compassionate, patient and adaptable teaching approach
  • Passion for working within special education schools
