Responsibilities

  • Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting children with ASD, sensory needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Use consistent and tailored strategies to support engagement and progress.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly ASD and complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Patient, calm and child‑centred approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and engage pupils effectively.
  • Experience supporting communication and independence skills.
  • Proactive and adaptable attitude.
