A welcoming and inclusive primary school in St Helens is seeking a dedicated and highly capable SENCO to join their team on a permanent basis with an immediate start. The Role
- Lead and manage the SEND strategy across the school
- Oversee provision for pupils with a wide range of needs, including those with EHCPs
- Work closely with class teachers to ensure high-quality, inclusive teaching and effective differentiation
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions and support programmes
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure joined-up support
- Advise and support staff on best practice in SEND
- Play a key role within the leadership team, contributing to whole-school improvement
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified teacher with the National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards / willing to complete)
- Proven experience supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs, such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech
