The Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Inspire and motivate students across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable).
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Assess and monitor student progress.
- Work collaboratively with departments and senior leadership teams.
- Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for education and student success.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
- GCSE and/or A-Level teaching experience.
- SEN or SEMH experience.
- Intervention and booster session experience.
- Ability to teach a second subject.
- Experience within alternative provision settings.
