What the role involves
- Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Encouraging students to develop understanding of physical and human geography
- Preparing pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations
- Differentiating lessons to support a range of abilities
- Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
- Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
What you’ll need
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for the subject
- Effective classroom management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
