Location: Site based – the role will work nationally throughout England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales with overtime weekdays and weekends. Typical working pattern: 12 days continuous, 2 days off.
As a Site Manager for Novus, you’ll see the impact and improvements your role delivers to customers and team every day – taking your job satisfaction to new levels. This varied and challenging role offers you the opportunity to work with and manage a skilled professional trade team, in a secure environment with long‑term contracts and opportunities to grow and learn. Utilizing your Site Management skills in Fast Fit Out refurbishment works within a hotel or student accommodation setting, you’ll also look for ways to add real value to the customers you work with. Supported by your peers, team and management to solve problems, you are trusted to make decisions, grow and develop relationships and revenue.
Ensure the smooth running of multiple designated sites, overseeing all site personnel to carry out their tasks efficiently and effectively so the contract is completed on time, with zero defects, within budget and with no risk to Health & Safety of the operational team, client or the general public.

Responsibilities
- Manage site teams, work activities and resources to meet the requirements of individual contracts.
- Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams (including subcontractors).
- Collate all pre‑construction information (packs, asbestos surveys etc.).
- Ensure all necessary contract documentation and reports are accurate and produced on time in conjunction with the Contracts Manager.
- Identify site hazards and ensure risk assessments and control methods are implemented via the Construction Phase Health.
- Ensure all sites work comply with legal and statutory requirements, including Health, Safety and Welfare.
- Assist in the preparation process for estimates, bids, and tenders in partnership with the Contracts Manager.
- Create, manage and report on projects with multiple, live site locations through the use of a master programme.
Qualifications
The successful Site Manager will work as part of a team, supporting mobilisation of hotel and student accommodation refurbishment works. Strong experience in Fast Fit Out, especially within leisure or retail sectors, is essential. Familiar with working in a live environment. Refurbishment works can vary from smaller works to a full hotel or student accommodation refurbishment, managing delivery through to completion/hand‑over. You will need to hold a Full UK driving licence to travel to sites daily. You must hold SMSTS or an associated NVQ, and be confident with IT and proficient in MS Office.
