In this lone-working role, you’ll prepare and cooknutritious, high-quality meals for residents and staff, helping to create asafe, welcoming environment.You’ll take ownership of all food preparationduring weekend shifts, ensuring meals are delivered to a high standard in linewith food safety requirements.This is a rewarding opportunity to make areal difference, supporting individuals as they transition back into thecommunity while working in a meaningful residential setting.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Deliver excellent food service while consistently maintaining high standards
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and EHO regulations at all times
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation in line with best practice standards
What you bring:
- Previous experience as a cook or chef within acatering, hospitality, or food service environment
- Relevant culinary qualifications such as City &Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health& safety standards, with IOSH qualification desirable
- Passion for food, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering quality meals
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
