About this job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Band 5 Nurse to join Hazelwood Ward, a mixed‑sex ward with predominantly service users with functional illnesses. The postholder will work in Woodlands Hospital and support three further wards (Holly & Delamere).
Responsibilities
- Lead handovers, medicines management, care planning, and risk assessment.
- Attend and contribute to board rounds and multi‑disciplinary team meetings.
- Support junior staff members on shift.
- Engage in appraisal and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Qualified Band 5 Nurse.
- Commitment to delivering quality mental health care.
- Good communication skills with patients, relatives, and carers.
