- Minimum five years post‑qualification and relevant experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Possession of MFDS, RCS or FDS, RCS – full registration with the General Dental Council.
- No on‑call commitment.
- Sub‑specialty interest in dentoalveolar surgery.
- Previous experience or training in the use of conscious sedation techniques for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient care of patients at the Salford Royal Hospital site.
- Consultation clinics and operating on patients under local anaesthesia and sedation.
- Provide advice and assistance to members of junior dental staff in training as needed.
- Continue training and development while in post; opportunities for evolving clinical responsibilities.
