It is an exciting time to join GMMH’s Addictions Network. Achieve Treatment and Recovery Services provides support for people experiencing problems with drug and alcohol use across Bury, Salford and Trafford. We are an NHS led service, working with multiple agencies in a unique partnership model. This partnership model enables us to work with patients in a holistic way focusing on the person and not the “problem”.

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Nurse with NMP who will deliver specialist support and prescribing interventions to our patients accessing treatment at Achieve. The successful candidate will work across our services in Salford and Bury, provide clinical sessions and will have a leadership role in the team – supervising junior members of the clinical team and providing clinical guidance to colleagues across the service, to our partner agencies and beyond.

The successful candidate will also provide a range of clinical interventions, detoxification interventions, blood borne virus screening, vaccinations, administering long‑acting injectable opiate medications, and carrying out a range of physical health investigations.

We provide inpatient and community‑based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and the borough of Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.
