As part of our Neighbourhoods team, you’ll support our tenants living in our sheltered schemes, helping them live independently and guiding them to specialised support when needed.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Tenant welfare checks.
  • Carrying out and reviewing support plans.
  • Identifying and monitoring risks.
  • Ensuring the schemes are safe by carrying out compliance checks.
  • Testing emergency call systems and fire alarms.
  • Signposting to relevant external agencies.
  • Holding activities for tenants.
  • Creating and maintaining computer-based records.

What we’re looking for:

  • Driving licence and use of a car for work purposes.
  • Self-confidence.
  • Empathy and resilience.
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
  • Customer service and communications skills.
  • IT skills and knowledge of using IT systems – learning on the job is acceptable if not already experienced.
