An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Mental Health Liaison Team for a Medical Secretary working at Meadowbrook. The position requires 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative services to identified medical teams within the Salford Division.
- Act as a PA for a number of consultants and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner.
- Type medical and other correspondence and action any requirements identified within the typing.
- Manage administrative duties within the area of work, including ensuring the allocation, timing and completion of discharge summaries.
- Update and circulate the on‑call rota as required.
- Answer and manage calls from patients, carers/relatives and other health and social care professionals.
- Support the Trust in achieving relevant performance targets.
