We require a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as the Band 2 Housekeeper for the Emergency Department, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive safe, clean and personal care every time.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with another housekeeper to maintain high standards contributing to an effective patient journey.
  • Undertake daily organisation, stock management, equipment audits and cleanliness of clinical and non-clinical environments.
  • Support the unit with general organisation in an orderly and systematic manner.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Caring attitude with the ability to work effectively under direction in a highly pressurised environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good literacy, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting is advantageous; in-house training will be provided.
