Location: Salford

Pay: £150-£170 per day, dependent on experience

Start Date: 18/05/2026

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

Contract: Temp to Perm

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Hair & Beauty Teacher to work in a Post-16 PRU setting in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in hair and beauty who are passionate about teaching and supporting learners. This position will suit candidates looking for an immediate start. You do not need QTS for this position. The school is a Pupil Referral Unit, supporting KS4 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

What We are Looking for:

  • A strong interest in delivering Hair and Beauty to KS4 learners
  • Previous experience teaching within a PRU or SEMH setting is highly desired
  • A commitment to supporting learners to reach their full potential
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

To be eligible you must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
