About this role
We are looking for a dedicated Band 5 Paediatric nurse who is committed to providing high‑quality nursing care to children with chronic and complex needs, paediatric palliative care, long‑term ventilation and acute nursing needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care and family support to children with chronic and complex needs.
- Provide paediatric palliative care and support to children with long‑term ventilation.
- Manage acute nursing needs in the community, child’s home, clinics, schools and nurseries.
- Prioritise workload and respond to unexpected demands and scenarios.
- Participate in an individualized orientation programme to develop high‑level skills and knowledge.
- Receive regular coordinated supervision and feedback to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a current NMC PIN.
- Band 5 experience or willingness to progress within the NHS.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to varied settings.
