A Vacancy at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our team at Salford Royal as Chief Technician Aseptic Services.
Responsibilities
- Train and educate; lead in the development and maintenance of initial and ongoing training programmes and assessment for technical services staff including CPD, mandatory training, re-accreditation and observational duties and ensure that standards appropriate to GMP according to regulated standards are taught and adhered to.
- Be involved in process development including the instillation and validation of a new compounder and TPN software, and work within the clean rooms on a regular basis.
- Assist the NCA Head of Production and Aseptic Services Managers with service provision and development.
- Provide support across the NCA Technical Service Units to align best practices while maximising the use of resources available.
- Provide cover for other Aseptic Services Chief Pharmacy Technicians in their absence, including operational production management, procurement and clinical trials supervision as required.
