Overview

Now Starting Hourly rate: £8.91. Bonus scheme applies from day 1 with bonus hourly rates up to £10.22. Orridge is one of the leading stocktaking providers to Retail and Pharmacy. Stocktaking means counting stock, which for us happens in a retail or pharmacy location. Our stocktake teams do this by scanning the barcodes of each product using Orridge equipment and our unique stocktaking system.

We have vacancies for Stocktakers in our North region. Our stocktakers typically work as part of a team, supported by a Stocktake Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Count stock in client locations using Orridge equipment and our stocktaking system.
  • Work as part of a team and follow instructions and procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Deliver stocktake services productively and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm and a good work ethic.
  • Accuracy is the priority; ability to follow clear instructions and procedures; drive to operate efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work at least 3 days per week (including weekends).
  • Will travel within an Orridge region; often to a different location each day. Own transport is an advantage but not essential.
  • No prior stocktaker experience required, as full training will be provided.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

What we offer

  • Minimum 4 hours pay per day; paid on a fortnightly basis.
  • Performance-related bonus scheme; higher pay rate (performance-based) from day 1.
  • Fortnightly pay; paid travel expenses or transport to work provided.
  • Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle; up to 48 hours work per week.
  • This is a casual contract; full, paid training will be provided.
  • The role may require afternoon/evening work and sometimes early morning work.
