An opportunity has arisen for a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology team. The role involves performing a range of diagnostic investigations, including Ambulatory Analysis, Exercise Tolerance testing and Tilt tests. The successful candidate will perform a range of diagnostic investigations independently within the department and assist in some complex investigations. Analyze and report findings for Ambulatory Monitors and perform routine ECGs and fit ambulatory monitors on a variety of patients. Work collaboratively on a day-to-day basis with others to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the service. Training will be offered in Pacemaker implantation and follow up.

Main duties of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Recording Electrocardiograms (ECGs)
  • Ambulatory 24Hr BP monitoring
  • Ambulatory 24HR ECG monitor Analysis
  • Analysis of the R test
  • Event recorders
  • Assist in ETT / HUT
  • Assist Pacemaker Implant and follow ups
