A vacancy at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust – the Salford Children's Speech and Language Therapy team is looking for an existing member of staff who would like to increase their hours.
Responsibilities
- This work will involve working with parents/carers, early years’ practitioners and teaching staff to promote communication development and help children to reach their potential.
- You will also contribute to the shared delivery of the Speech & Language Therapy Service in Salford under the guidance and supervision of qualified Speech & Language Therapists.
Qualifications
- Experience of working with children and as part of a team is essential.
- A sound knowledge of language and communication development is required.
- You must have good time management and organisational skills, be a confident communicator, and you must have either NVQ Level III in Child or Health Care with relevant experience (2–3 years) or NNEB (or equivalent qualification).
- You must be able to travel to different sites.
