Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities for rooms, meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and local businesses.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and rate agreements.
  • Conduct hotel site inspections and client show-rounds.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and departmental sales targets.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the hotel’s marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Manage and update content for social media platforms, website, and online listings.
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
  • Support brand consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Coordinate and manage events from enquiry to execution, including conferences, weddings, meetings, and social events.
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements and ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Work closely with operations, food & beverage, and external suppliers.
  • Prepare event orders, schedules, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Ensure events meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales leads, client interactions, and event details.
  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and hotel sales systems (CRM, PMS preferred).
