Brentwood School is an outstanding special school which specialises in the education of students with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex needs and autism. Our school benefits from fabulous facilities and is co‑located with a post‑19 college. Student numbers are set to increase over the coming years and an extension to our building opened in September 2025.
Due to the continuing growth of this highly successful school and college, we are looking for Level 1 teaching assistants who:

We are particularly interested in recruiting staff with experience of:
- Supporting students with autism
- Working with both child and adult learners
- Supporting students with a range of special educational needs
- Supporting students with complex medical needs
We are also interested in recruiting graduates who are considering a career in teaching, social work, speech and language therapy or occupational therapy. We will provide a comprehensive training programme to equip you with the skills required to work with young people with a range of needs.
