We have an exciting opportunity for a keen, motivated, and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our team at Altrincham Outpatient Department. If you are a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care within an outpatient environment, this could be an excellent next step in your career.
Our department hosts a wide range of specialised clinics, including Cardiology, Diabetes, ENT, Plastics, Rheumatology, Respiratory, Surgery, Trauma & Orthopaedics, and many more. As the RN in clinic, you will play a key role in taking charge of the department, supporting colleagues, ensuring the smooth running of clinics, assisting clinicians, and providing exceptional support to patients throughout their visit.
This post is for 12 hours per week initially and may occasionally involve cross‑site working across other WTWA outpatient departments, offering valuable opportunities for further learning and professional development. The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate, and sensitive manner.
Work closely with the multi‑disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre‑registration students. The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of patient care.
