As an Estimator you will play a vital role within the business and be responsible for producing industry leading utility tenders for our Residential, EV Charging Points, Industrial & Commercial customers based throughout the UK. You will work alongside key account managers and the wider tendering team to ensure tenders are produced in a timely manner and to customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Utility Estimator or similar role in the utilities sector is desirable.
- Provide quotations and tenders for new works and turnkey projects.
- Apply for asset value quotations to our adoption partners.
- Developing and maintaining supplier relations.
- Attending site surveys or tender reviews as and when necessary.
- Establishing key aspects associated with client requirements, liaising with internal departments, and submitting final overview of project ability to the client.
Qualifications:
- HNC in engineering related discipline or working towards (desirable).
- The ideal applicants will ideally have experience in a similar role and within the utilities industry.
- Electric and Water bias experience preferable.
- Experience in Customer facing, customer Relationship management, and supplier relationship management.
- Previous notable experience of tender documentation preparation and review.
- Be a technically strong and proficient user of Microsoft Office Packages.
- Diligent and highly organised.
