We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Manchester. This role is focused on designing, developing, and delivering a new suite of financial reports using Power BI while leveraging advanced tools like SQL and Snowflake for data processing and visualization.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy Power BI dashboards to deliver meaningful financial insights.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather and analyse reporting requirements.
  • Use SQL and Snowflake to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into reporting systems.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity in data and reporting outputs.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure high performance and reliability of reports.
  • Create user training materials and documentation to support the adoption of new reporting tools.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Power BI report development and management.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake for data handling.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial data structures and reporting needs.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in a finance-related role is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets and optimize reporting performance.
