We are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer to join our growing engineering division. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mobile engineer with strong experience across air conditioning, chillers, and HVAC systems. The role will suit someone who is technically strong, self-motivated, and confident working independently across a range of commercial sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding, and repairing a wide range of HVAC and cooling equipment across commercial client sites. The position will also involve installation work, as the business continues to grow its in‑house projects division and reduce reliance on subcontractors.

Equipment & Systems

  • Air conditioning systems
  • VRV / VRF systems
  • Split and multi‑split systems
  • AHUs and associated HVAC plant
  • Controls and electrical fault finding (desirable)

Installation Experience:

  • Experience carrying out installation works is essential, including:
  • Single split systems
  • Multi‑split systems
  • VRV / VRF installations
  • Pipework and control systems

Candidate Requirements

  • Fully qualified Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer
  • Proven experience within commercial AC and chiller environments
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic ability
  • Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Professional and customer‑focused approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Location & Coverage

This is a mobile role covering commercial sites primarily across the North and Midlands. Most work is concentrated along the M62 corridor, including: Greater Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Midlands and surrounding areas. Engineers are generally kept within reasonable travelling distance where possible.
