Are you a commercially driven product or brand specialist ready to make your mark? We’re looking for a Senior Buyer: Own Brand to take full ownership of a high-profile portfolio leading everything from product concept and development through to launch, performance, and optimisation. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role where you’ll shape products that customers love while driving real commercial results.
What You’ll Do
- Own and deliver the long‑term vision for our own‑brand portfolio
- Identify opportunities for growth through market insight and trends
- Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to phase‑out
- Drive new product development (NPD) from idea to launch, including formulation, packaging, and costing
- Source, onboard, and manage third‑party manufacturers and suppliers
- Lead supplier negotiations to improve cost, margin, and service
- Build strong, collaborative supplier partnerships with clear performance management
- Own sales, margin, and profitability targets across the portfolio
- Develop robust business cases for new products and portfolio changes
- Monitor performance KPIs and take corrective action where needed
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Operations to deliver results
The Skills You’ll Need
- Experience in product, brand, or category management
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales and margin growth
- Experience leading product development and working with external suppliers
- Confident stakeholder management across multiple functions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insight and action
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving capability
