The Role
We are seeking a passionate and resilient Science Teacher to join us immediately. This is a full-time position covering both KS3 and KS4 Science. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and drive results across all three disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver specialist Science lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Use data-informed strategies to support student progress and attainment.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management in line with school policy.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and engage in departmental meetings.
Requirements (Essential)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory.
- Subject Specialist: Proven ability to teach Science at KS3 and KS4 level.
- UK Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
- Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Reliability: Commitment to a full-time schedule for the remainder of the academic year.
