The Governors of St. Gabriel’s RC Primary School wish to appoint a dedicated, caring and motivated Class Teacher to join this lovely, family orientated school as a class teacher working in KS2. This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of a team as it continues its journey of excellence. We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Is committed to upholding the Catholic ethos of our wonderful school;
  • Is committed and passionate about children and the provision for them with high expectations on achievement, behaviour and engagement;
  • Has demonstrated at least consistently good or better teaching;
  • Has a good knowledge of the primary curriculum and uses assessment to drive learning and progress;
  • Reflects personality, energy and enthusiasm who can engage with children of all backgrounds and levels of need or ability;
  • Has compassion for children, who sincerely cares and is willing to bring love and humour with them;
  • Is interested in becoming part of our wider whole school team and dedicated to making a positive contribution in all areas of school life including the learning, social, extra-curricular, spiritual and relational aspects of this school;
  • Is self-motivated and able to work cooperatively as part of a team.
